Position Description

Emergency Room RN – Night Shift | Travel Contract | Pediatric Experience Required

Location: Massachusetts (Permanent MA RN License Required)

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Nights

Orientation Dates: October 28

Contract Type: Travel RN | Holiday Coverage Required

About the Role

A high-performing facility in Massachusetts is urgently seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to join their night shift team. This role requires full coverage over the Christmas holiday—no RTO will be approved during this period. Candidates must be comfortable handling all case types, including pediatric patients, due to rising pediatric illness trends.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert emergency care across all patient populations
  • Manage high-acuity cases including pediatric emergencies
  • Maintain readiness for holiday coverage and float as needed
  • Document using Epic EMR
  • Participate in orientation on 10/28

Requirements

  • Permanent Massachusetts RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Active PALS and TNCC certifications (must be completed before start)
  • Must be within 30 minutes of facility when on call

Additional Details

  • Floating may be required to sister campuses
  • All RTO and schedule requests must be submitted with profile—no exceptions post
