Position: Registered Nurse – ICU

Facility: Sturdy Memorial Hospital

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Shift: Nights – 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Unit Details

• Unit Type: ICU
• Beds: 14
• Patient Population:
• Medical: ARDS, COPD, alcohol withdrawal, GI bleed, overdose, COVID
• Surgical: VATS, carotid endarterectomy (CEA)
• Post-surgical and post-ICU transfers
• Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
• Team Roles: ICU staff serve as code and rapid response team
• Coverage: Intensivists during the day, NPs at night
  

Requirements

• Experience: ICU and telemetry experience required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Preferred: Cerner charting experience
  
  

Required Skills

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring
• Continuous IV sedation
• Procedural sedation administration
